customers to develop training that is targeted to meet the individual needs of
their audience.
Comprehensive Skill
Assessment Tool (CSAT)
The Comprehensive Skill
Assessment Tool (CSAT) is designed as a true skill gap analysis tool,
allowing individuals to take assessments online to identify areas of strength
and areas needing improvement across several key automotive and truck skill
areas. As CSAT measures the technical skill level of individuals, when
this data is compared against an organizations "ideal," a skill gap analysis is
created.
CSAT
is designed with both pre and post assessment phases, allowing the
individual time after they have completed the pre-assessment phase
to address areas identified as needing improvement. As needed,
Delmar Cengage Learning will work with the training managers and/or business
owners to establish an effective education and training program
that directly addresses any areas identified as needing improvement.

Once the education/training phase
is complete, the individual will complete the online post-assessment. The
results of which will demonstrate an increased skill ability for the
individual. CSAT is essential for any training manager. Combined with
